Iron & Stainless International N.V., or ISI N.V. for short, is specialized in trading and stocking of Prime and Second choice stainless steel products on the international market.

The company was established in 1995 as a joint venture company between a Belgian and Canadian company. In 1996 the Belgian Company Shayan bvba owned by Mr. and Mrs Van Dessel, both actively working for ISI NV, decided to take over all the shares. Since that moment ISI NV is completely in the hands of Shayan BVBA.
ISI NV focuses mainly on second choice stainless steel products, but also handles in Prime Stainless steel.

Second choice material can be downgraded for different reasons.
The most common reasons are:

- non-standard size
- out of tolerance on size
- slight surface defects
- transport or manipulation damages.
